Carmel-by-the-Sea is a small quaint town (often referred to as the “village”), which is rich with artistic history. The school's academic achievement caught the attention of State Superintendent of Public Instruction Jack O'Connell, who visited the campus Wednesday.
'We always like to meet our distinguished schools to see them in action," Raj said. "This school has amazing test scores. API scores are off the chart, (test score improvement) is off the chart. We want to see what they're doing here that makes them so successful.' "
