My Walk Score Is???
I recently learned about a great new website called Walk Score. Using Google maps, business listings, schools, parks, etc., Walk Score determines the ease of accessibility of ones neighborhood. Walk Score is proving to be a valuable tool for both the home Seller and Buyer. For the Seller it isn’t just about location and curb appeal, and for the Buyer that is looking to purchase in a “walkability” neighborhood, before making that purchase, this will be a site to check out. Walkability means the ease with which one can enjoy his/her community via shanks’ pony, otherwise known as one’s legs.
Walking can be good for the individual, neighborhood and environment—not to mention the pocketbook.
My Walk Score is 69. What’s yours?

It's not a new thing. I heard about it long time ago :)) Sometimes it works greatly but drive score is better. For example, on the site www.fizber.com. Check it there.
My walk score is 35. That’s not so bad. This service can be rather useful especially for those
who are going to buy a house or just want to estimate their
present location. I have also tried one more service at
http://drivescore.fizber.com/. It is called Drive Score. With the help of it you can see how close establishments are by car. My result is 50. Drive Score calculates your score based on the number of places within a convenient driving distance. The greater the number of businesses
nearby the higher the drive score.
